The mission of International Business School (IBS-Plekhanov) of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics is

• to contribute to the development of international educational space for the training of highly professional and socially responsible specialists, able to ensure innovative economic growth and the prosperity of the society in globalised economy

Objectives:

• to contribute to innovative economic growth through training of specialists in a continuously perfected educational process, development and introduction of new educational programmes

The accomplishment of the mission and objectives of International Business School (IBS-Plekhanov) of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics can be illustrated by

• a range of teaching materials prepared and published in Russian and in English (textbooks, handbooks, interdisciplinary business game, work experience, use of interactive teaching methods), development and introduction of new syllabi to comply with up-to-date requirements

• teaching several foreign languages, the requirement to receive international examination certificate being obligatory (TOEFL, DELF, Certificaat Nederlands als Vreemde Tal, Instituto Cervantes examinations, Goethe-Institut German examinations)

• cooperation with Banque Societe Generale Vostok (grants for best IBS students and grants for students participating in scientific conferences), with Banca Intesa (financing internships in Italy), with Opus Holding (financing internships)

• use of European Credit Transfer System and rating system of control of students’ progress

• quality control of teaching of disciplines through 360 Degree Feedback Approach
