The concept of the IBS masters programs (instructed in English) is the maintenance and further development of the educational traditions of delivering courses in English, which started in 1992 in cooperation with the leading universities of the  Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Ireland, Spain, Finland, France, Sweden and other countries. The practical orientation of the educational program is confirmed by the ratings of International Business School «IBS-Plekhanov» given by the International Science Committee of Eduniversal. Program IBS International Corporate Finance is in top 200 of International Master programs.

The integration process of the Russian economy into the international economic systems requires   new approaches to the educational training of economists in the sphere of international corporate finance, who are fluent in professional English and who are able to communicate with analysts of the leading investment banks, world stock exchanges, representatives of industrial companies and international organizations.

The aim of the IBS master program «International Corporate Finance» is to train highly qualified professionals in the sphere of finance and economics, who have a high command of theoretical knowledge in the modern theory of finance and skills of its application on practice in accordance with contemporary international requirements, and who are able to make decisions during the periods of instability of financial markets.

The master program is the logical continuation of the IBS-Plekhanov bachelor program «Finance and Credit» and gives the opportunity to obtain two diplomas – of the international partner-university and Russian State Diploma of Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

The special feature of IBS master program «International Corporate Finance» is the fundamental theoretical training of the masters in accordance with the requirements of the Russian Ministry of Education, on the basis of which the graduates will be able to conduct research work, to build practical knowledge of corporate finance, accounting and reporting the field of finance, and basic skills for fundamental analysis in investments decision making.

In the block of professional disciplines the subjects compatible with the courses of international professional accreditations are presented, which give the practical knowledge in the field of corporate finance management, controlling and reporting.

The international level of the program is maintained  by the constant involvement in the teaching process of the professors from European and American Universities (Arnhem Business School HAN University, Hanzehogeschool van Groningen, Fachhochschule Wurzburg – Schweinfurt , Haagse Hogeschool University of Professional Education/IBMS, Pôle Universitaire Léonard de Vinci; Hogskolan i Boras University; University of Iowa; University of Northern Iowa), who organise business games, conduct  lectures and supervise the research projects. There is also  the possibility for the students to take part in the Double Degree program and international exchange program.
